In your EMA Preferences on the desktop site (Google Chrome), scroll down to "Default the CCD Received option to 'No' for all newly created New Patients and Transitions of Care visits"
Make sure this option is set to "Yes" which will allow OrthoSouth staff to mark visits only when a CCD is received from a referring provider.
OrthoSouth will be able to monitor CCD documents coming in to the provider's direct mail section of EMA. They will be mapped to patients to satisfy the CCD credit of inbound referrals as stated by the MIPS Measure documentation guideance.
